This year we have chosen the Newport & Usk Vale Lions to support and sponsor.
We are a firm believer in supporting our local community ventures and residents and the Lions do this is a wonderful way and have been doing this for a very long time, over 100 years in fact!
Being both members of BNI it was a natural choice for us as we get to hear on a weekly basis about the great work and support the Lions provide within our local community. How did the Lions do in 2019/20
Volunteered 256 hours in service to our local and wider communities.
Taken part in 29 separate service activities across the year.
Served 3260 individuals |n the local and wider community.
Donated £6,500 to good causes.
Newport & Usk Vale Lions
Lions are rolling up their sleeves and taking action. With over 1.4 million members, we’re the largest service organization in the world. And we’re as dedicated to helping those in need today as we were over 100 years ago when we started.
Newport and Usk Vale Lions Club makes grants to organisations and to individuals.
We provide volunteers to help run events and concerts.
We support charities whose focus is on improving life of those individuals less fortunate than ourselves. This is done through the advancement of health or saving of lives.
We provide support to Children
People with disabilities and the Elderly
The Club operates mainly in the following authority areas; Torfaen, Monmouthshire. Newport city.
